A Nasty Fall

October 12th, 2011

I just took one of the nastiest falls on my bicycle I was writing with my friend Jack. At 1st things were going just as the usually doing nothing very eventful is happening but then Jack dared me to jump off of a bridge with my bicycle. It was a very small bridge and it would’ve just been a cool jump if I had pulled it off but instead I fall. It was such an epic fail because I thought I was going to do really well so I was bragging about it 1st. I told Jack that I could do the jump off the bridge on my bicycle with my eyes closed. Jack told that I could not and when I try to prove them wrong I ended up falling and hurting my arm. I hate hurting my arm because I need my arm to write and I need my arm to play the drums. I do not know what I’m going to do with this injury prevents me from playing the drums.

Web Series Pioneers

June 24th, 2011

Web series are a great new medium – a fantastic twenty-first century way of getting your entertainment fix. But the problematic issue with anything that can be made cheaply is that there are bound to be cheap people making cheap product that frankly is terrible. That’s why so many web series are just absolute garbage. That, and the fact that no one is figured out quite how to monetize online content.

However, like with any new form of entertainment or technology, web series will definitely find a niche because there are talented people making good content.

And great content almost always finds an audience. It doesn’t matter where the material is, people seek it out. Hopefully that’s what will happen for really talented web series creators. The pioneers will make a path for online entertainment, and it will soon be elevated to a higher level – especially consider how cost effective shooting with high quality cameras has become.
